More Than Just Honey

Pure Coastal Honey was founded on a simple belief: the more people understand bees, the better we can protect them.

What began as a small beekeeping operation has grown into a platform for sharing knowledge, supporting beekeepers, and helping connect people with the realities of modern beekeeping.

Through our articles, field observations, educational resources, and community involvement, we aim to make beekeeping knowledge accessible to everyone — from those buying their first jar of honey to experienced beekeepers navigating challenges such as varroa mite, small hive beetle, and American foulbrood.

The honey we produce remains at the heart of what we do. Every jar reflects the seasons, local forage, and the unique coastal environment our bees call home. We produce our honey in small batches, never blending harvests to create uniform colour or flavour, allowing each season to tell its own story.

But Pure Coastal Honey is about more than honey.

It is about education, transparency, and supporting the future of beekeeping.

By sharing real-world experiences, encouraging evidence-based management, and promoting responsible beekeeping practices, we hope to help both bees and beekeepers thrive.

Whether you're here to learn, follow our journey, or enjoy a jar of honey, welcome to Pure Coastal Honey.

What People Are Saying

  • Pure Costal Honey is the best honey we had so far...the Bees are located in different areas and you definitely can taste the different native pollen they collect. We won't buy any honey anywhere else anymore. The owners Jamie and Cat are great people to deal with and always reliable.
